Humanities Independent Project June 25 (7)

Year 9 students taking part in the Humanities Extended Project brought their finished presentations into school on Tuesday to share with parents, staff and peers.

Teacher of Geography and Deputy SENDCo, Mrs Spearman, said:

"We were delighted to finally see the outcome of our dedicated and enthusiastic students this week.  The projects produced were truly outstanding and we are so proud of all those involved.  It was a pleasure to discuss with students their different interests in geography, history and religion and world views.  Not only did students demonstrate their robust research skills, but they also showed such wonderful creativity in their presentation styles."

All students were awarded with certificates.  In addition to this, special recognition awards were given to Aiden for his religion and world views project on Christianity; Tiffanie for her geography project on dinosaur extinction and Isabella for her history project on the part her great-grandad played in World War Two.

Beth was the winner of the Humanities Extended Project trophy, sharing her passion for space exploration and how this fits into each area of humanities.  We hope her ambition and interest in the universe takes her flying into space one day!
