Success for Beacon Academy Equestrian Team at Hadlow College

Three members of Beacon Academy Equestrian Team enjoyed a fantastic morning of competition at Hadlow College earlier this month, with an impressive set of results across multiple classes.

We were especially delighted to see new Year 7 team members, Poppy and Tatty, making such a strong start in their first events representing Beacon Academy.

All three riders delivered excellent performances, with every competitor successfully qualifying for the Grass Roots Championships at Hickstead this summer.

• Tatty achieved 2nd place in the 60cm class
• As a team, Ezzy, Tatty and Poppy won the 70cm team competition
  • Poppy also placed 1st individually
  • Tatty came 3rd individually
• Poppy continued her success with 2nd place in the 80cm class

Beyond the results, all three riders demonstrated excellent riding, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the day, supporting one another and representing Beacon brilliantly.

Both Poppy and Sonia will be competing at Hickstead over half term, and the team will also be taking part in an event at Felbridge next month.
