Rail discounts

The 16 to 17 Saver is a new national railcard for 16 and 17 year-olds which gives 50% off Standard Anytime, Standard Off-Peak, Standard Advance and Season tickets for travel at any time of the day.

For more information, please visit the 16 to 17 Saver site.

Parking

Parents and carers are not permitted to drive onto the Beacon Academy site during school drop off and collection without prior permission from the school. Driving onto site causes significant congestion with understandable safety concerns and prevents County transport for both Beacon Academy and Acre Wood Academy from accessing or leaving our site at the designated times.

Please be considerate if you are parking a vehicle in the residential streets around Beacon Academy. Please ensure that you do not park across residents’ driveways, on grass verges or block their access to their property as this can inevitably cause significant congestion on and around our neighbouring residential streets. In addition to this, please remember to turn your engines off while waiting. Leaving your engines running creates substantial noise for our neighbours and a large amount of pollution in an area that is heavily populated by children.

Many thanks for your continued support.
